Alan is an organizational psychologist and founder of Slingshot Leadership. He has 25 years of experience helping leaders create high performing teams that drive growth and profitability. He has worked with senior executives across multiple industries in the U.S., Europe, Asia, and Latin America.

Slingshot Leadership collaborates with clients to enhance the long-term success of their business and the individual well-being of its members. We help leaders create high performing teams using customized solutions for Strategic Alignment, Organization Design, and Leadership Development.

Prior to launching Slingshot Leadership, Alan was the head of global talent management for Time Warner Inc. for 10 years. In this role, he was responsible for leading succession and development strategies for senior business and creative executives across all Time Warner businesses. Prior to Time Warner, Alan worked in consulting firms Mercer HR Consulting and Sibson Consulting and was responsible for the full scope of client engagement including business development, organization diagnosis, solution design and execution, and client service team management.

Alan has published articles and book chapters in both scholarly and mainstream press. His most recent book chapter, entitled "Humor and Organizational Networks: Functions and Dysfunctions", appears in "The Psychology of Humor at Work" (Routledge, 2018).

Alan serves on the board of The Brotherhood/Sister Sol; a not-for-profit organization that provides comprehensive, holistic and long-term support services to youth who range in age from eight to twenty-two.

Alan earned his Ph.D. from Columbia University and his B.A. from Purdue University.
